BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS: MATHEMATICS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The entrance requirement for the Honours degree in Mathematics is a Bachelor’s degree with a weighted average of at least 60% in Mathematics as the major subject.

GENERAL

The Honours programme runs over a year and consists of four taught modules (3 compulsory and one elective) and a compulsory project. Successful completion of the research report is required for the degree. The research report must be completed and submitted for assessment the first week of the November examination period. Candidates may replace the elective taught module with another appropriate module with the permission of the Head of the Department.
